Since the Second Annual DVD for the Troops Campaign is in full swing, I thought it would be nice to revisit what the first DVD Campaign was like. I would have had this post up last week, but I have been a bit constrained for time due to some personal issues. Trust me, this was written a while ago tho, I am not a slacker :-)
This is a short outline of some of the highlights of the Campaign:

Help Support our Troops!!
As a proud supporter of our troops, NutsOnline has worked with our valued customers to send thousands and thousands of care packages to our servicemen and women stationed overseas. To make an even larger impact both home and abroad, we'll be donating 10% of proceeds from all military related orders to Fisher House, a non-profit organization that provides housing to families of injured soldiers requiring specialized, extended away care.
If you want to support our troops overseas and make a difference to the families of injured soldiers at home, here are TWO easy ways you can help!
1) If you know someone stationed overseas and want to brighten their day, simply purchase any NutsOnline goodie, enter in the recipients' APO/FPO address, and we'll get your delicious treats overseas in just a few days...amazing, huh?!

This is the listing of active campaigns:
* This is the summary from JerichoRangers4OurTroops.com, which was begun by Hawksdomain for the sole purpose of Support for Our Troops. My note*
Jericho Season 1 DVDs for Our Troops started August 10, 2007 and ended on September 23, 2007. $3,295.70 was been raised to purchase 94 copies of Jericho Season 1 DVDs to send to Staten Island Project Homefront for distribution to the various soldiers they send to monthly. Our DVDs are scheduled to ship on October 25, 2007. To see more about this campaign, please click here. Thank you to everyone who helped with this campaign!
The Rotary Club campaign began on August 31, 2007 and will be modified as we continue our campaigns to support our troops. The Rotary Club campaign can be altered to your personal activities. If you are active with your local Chamber of Commerce, Lion's Club, Elks Club, Knights of Columbus, or any organization that helps charities, please feel free to use the letter we have provided to send to your favorite organization! To see the sample letter, please click here.
Care Package Item Wish List is a campaign to contact the manufacturers of the various items requested by the troops to request donations. See how you might be able to help by visiting JerichoNet.
Phone Cards for Our Troops is a recent idea started at JerichoNet. A letter has been drafted to contact the major phone companies to ask for donations of phone cards for the Troops so they can call home over the holiday season!
