Update on JerichoRises.com Status ~ Gone Again

JerichoRises.com is ONCE again unavailable to it's users. And what strikes me as funny as all get out is that once again instead of just posting a messages, "hey Jericho Fans, we are at that place where we have to say goodnight and goodbye. You all have been great, the best fans any Network could ask for, you have toiled well past what is righteously expected of a fan base, you have shown loyalty in the face of absolute disrespect and kept coming back to the web site. You have provided us so many Google hits that it is astounding, big Kudos for that!"

Oh no... no message for the forum users was posted. And we would have been insane to have expected that. The very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results. That is how I have been feeling for months concerning the boards, Jericho itself and my participation in this whole event.

I still love the show, but the show as it stands now no longer exists except on the DVD's we all bought to support the show ( no, wait... that was done to support our troops, CBS gained as a result of that) and since the show no longer exists except in our hearts and minds, in our relationships we have built with each other, there is no reason to mourn the boards demise.

The only group that has lost anything is CBS, they lost you; the very best people and fans of a show that could have existed. You were a lighting strike, you the fans were that once in a million flash of genius, you the fans were history making Goliaths. And you still are, keep on hitting the UHD boards that is now the meeting place for the fans of the show.

Here is where the boards are located ~ and this page lets you register if you have not already * trust me , easy as pie and only took five seconds!* You then get an email to confirm you are actually doing this registration ( you know the drill by now right?) and then your a part of the UHD community and can go to the Jericho Forums and get into the fray with the rest of the rowdy Jericho Nuts.

They are displaced but not down :-) and they certainly are an industrious bunch, there are tv spots, videos made, promotions galore all done by these fans of a show about communities surviving a tragic event. The fans of Jericho are a gift to who ever is smart enough to pick up Jericho as a show...... and CBS this loss is all yours.

I know some may think it is ungrateful of me to speak so to CBS but as I have grown in this whole affair I have watched some fraction of CBS take down not only a couple of great shows with a fan base to die for ( yes, Moonlight fans, I do not forget how you out did us Jericho fans a few times just in decorum and I salute you all.) Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face CBS... you threw out a gold mine.

Okay, that is it for now. I could go on and on but that will get us no where. On to UHD, lets give them our love and attention now, and see how much they appreciate their customers. And please, remember... no matter the outcome of this whole affair of the last year and a half we got the better part of the whole thing, we got each other! No one can ever take that away from us, nor the memories we built together.

That my friends is priceless.

As you can see I found another beautiful image to post here. This image is done as an HDR, the basics as I understand them are this, you take images at a few seconds apart in different apertures ( dark and light) and then layer them together to get this wonderful and some times moving effect. I love the product, each one is so vastly different from photographer to photographer.

Well, I was at CBS tonight for a fast look see to see what new items may be going up as threads etc.
The Porchlady has once again made it extremely easy for us to get our fannies in gear and pick a effort and start.

Letters to NBC(addresses below): Concentrate our approach! Letters go out on Monday and each Monday through December that the UHD ad will be running. We are concentrating on Bonnie Hammer and Nancy Tellum.

Why is sending letters URGENT right now? Timing is everything. We need to make a business argument with them. We are trying to plant a seed with Nancy that with so many shows tanking on their network and with 4th place standing, maybe it is time to take a chance on Jericho. Also, sending in your demographics and why it is worth savingJericho are important info.

Register and post on UHDtv ( info below): Register and post once a day on the Jericho message board on UHDtv. Your presence is noticed!

Share the information about the Utube episodes and UHDtv rewatch./message board with others (link below)**: Contact online communities, friends, family, other fans.**Updated list of places which have been contacted further down on thread.

Hello Fellow Rangers

As I stated last week we are finally ready to launch the TV ad on UHD which will be running in the 8am-7 pm time slot on UHD (NBC’s Universal HD channel).



I know that many if not most of the folks have left the Board and only check in looking for news on the fate of the show one way or the other because they feel that some 8 months after the official cancellation with no official word from anyone associated with the show that things have come to conclusion. I understand and agree that things don’t look positive, especially with many moving on to other projects but all is not lost. The CBS Board is still standing, the sets are still together andJericho is playing on UHD and now on Utub*.



I strongly feel that we have one more real chance to get the folks at CBS/Paramount and NBC Universal’s attention. With the launch of the TV AD on NBC Universal’s UHD channel that will run into December we will be exposed to a National audience for the first time. We will have an opportunity to attract the attention of new people who have not had a chance to see the show before now and also to let those who were one of the millions of viewers for the first 2 seasons that there is still people interested in helping find the show a new home on another Network.

I am asking every Ranger New and Old to help out on this last campaign to give it one more chance to get the attention of NBC and Nancy at Paramount

Please join us at the www.radiofreejericho.com chat room for the final episode of season 2 on Tuesday November 18th at 10 ET. This will be our last episode until the new year when we will start over with season one. Watching Patriots and Tyrants will remind you of why we are still in the fight to get a third season of Jericho there are so many unanswered questions. CBS describes the episode: Jake and Hawkins have one final opportunity to prove to the independent Texas government that they hold the evidence to one of the biggest conspiracies in history...but first they'll have to get past the Cheyenne government. I hope to see everyone there remembering why we fight. During the holidays we will hold fun chats on Tuesday nights.

Operation Home Cooking


Angela and Cathy are putting together a cookbook to benefit the Military Families as part of The Welcome Home To Jericho Charity Event in April.


The name of the cookbook will be Operation Home Cooking. These girls have come up with this idea on their own and have been working really hard to make this happen. They are in need of Jericho fan recipes if any of you have any you would be willing to share for it. They are also looking for someone to design the cover.

December Blackjack Fairgrounds


The theme of the December Edition is "Holidays in Jericho" and will cover any of the winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa, New Years Eve or Epiphany).
