Tuesday evening, a unfinished version of the newest X- Men movie, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" was leaked by unknowns to the Internet. Way to go guys, ruin the film for everyone.
What really stunk on top of some moron leaking the incomplete film was the fact that many online bloggers and critics watched the film and then critiqued it!
I will not say who did watch the film, as it was a leak of Jericho that screwed it up for the Jericho fans in my opinion and I see the people who do this sort of thing as simply low. I will say that many of the more notable and influential of the online sites, such as aintitcool.com refused to view or review the film. I am glad to see there are still people in the world who believe in fair play and respecting another right to follow the rules.
Those that steal content of any type and then place it online stink, it happens each day with Blog posts, Interviews, and even music. This not only ruins the publics experience by having the shadow of this behavior always associated with the stolen works, it also shows the kids of today that no one in the adult world follows the rules of common courtesy, so why should they?
Here is a great article on the whole event at the New York Daily News and also the write up on this over at aintitcool.com. I am glad that 20th Century is going to persue legal action against the person or persons who did the leak, shows that not every one is invisible on the Internet , you do wrong you will pay eventually.
