The last time I used Windows a few years ago, it was all about Windows XP. Now I am using Vista Premium, doesn't that sound so cool? Well, Vista honestly has its good points and its not so good points. I really liked XP more than I like Vista. There was a familiar view to it, the menus were solid and not so glitzy and I did not need some type of score in order to use all of the software I paid for like I do with Vista. But I am doing my best to adjust because I was just tired of not being able to use all my hardware in Linux due to Drivers not being loaded etc. I will miss Linux and can not wait until they make a Distro that will allow me to use all of my motherboard and graphics to their full potential.
I have not yet loaded up my Office applications, I am using Open Office for now but I do need to load Office 2007. I am just a bit worried about finding my way around in it, believe it or not there is a real learning curve. It took me about three months before I was even slightly used to Open Office Menus! But I have found out there is an add on that allows you to use Classic Menus to Office that we had in 2003.
Show your favorite menus and toolbars in Word 2007 by using this download add on and you will once again be back in the familiar arms of Office 2003 menus, with no more hunting for your favorite sections. When I am working I hate that I have to hunt down the formatting or other parts of Office that I want to be right at my finger tips. And you can use a free download to check it out and they even offer you a 60 day Money Back Guarantee after your trial is over. So go back to the interface in MS Office that you loved back in 2003 edition and get your work groove on!
