Moving and need help with packing?

My son is returning from overseas this coming week, and in the front of his arrival have been boxes of items he has gotten while over there these last few years.

One of the places he had thought about taking as a new residence was Washington ( the state) and all this moving has gotten me thinking about moving myself. I definitely would consider a move to either Washington or better yet Alaska. My son also considered moving to Hawaii and I am a bit surprised he did not settle on that state.
