This morning when I turned on my children's computer the funniest thing happened. It suddenly began with a grub screen that offered me four different log on options, two for Linux and two for Vista! Now what is so weird is, I did load both Linux and Vista on two different drives in the computer ( dual boot options) but it never took or so I thought.

Then this morning bang there are the options. I have been letting the kids just run Vista because Linux never seemed to have been loaded correctly. So I immediately thought , virus. I then had to go and have my computer scanned for viruses because I always assume the worse when it comes to shady behavior on the computer. Luckily I was not infected ( still not sure why the darned thing decided to start working now ) but it does make it clear that each day we are surfing the Internet we are exposed to nasty malware and viruses. Linux is not open to these types of behaviors but windows users are under daily assault.
