This is just a quick introductory to the Troop Effort that the Jericho Fans are involving themselves with-


What are the Nuts For Jericho Forum Members doing to help the Troops? We currently have a few main efforts that we are pushing ahead with:


The Staten Island Project Home Front -
To familiarize everyone with what this project is all about, please check out this video made by Jericho Baginz * he made all the awesome Nuts videos you saw all trough out the Save Jericho Campaign!*



If you go to this thread at NFJ you can get the entire list of items that are in need by our Troops, and you can also go directly to the Staten Island Project Home Front Website as well.

The other effort being paid attention to here is Jericho Cooks
brought to us by Morgan5318, Railroadersbrat, Greeneyes371 and Sarork. This is one fun way to do something very important for our Troops!

Jericho Cooks: Food For a Post-Apocalyptic World

was inspired by the CBS TV show, Jericho. It will be a compilation of simple and survivalist recipes collected from Jericho fans. We are actively seeking recipes for the cookbook. Please see the categories at left and submit any appropriate recipes.

The Jericho Cooks Committee has officially begun an open invitation to all artists / designers. We are looking for a design for the front cover for the Jericho cookbook, titled: Jericho Cooks: Food in the Post-Apocalyptic World. Please keep reading for rules and guidelines.

Deadline for artwork submission is August 15th at midnight CST. See more on the website!

Nuts for Jericho is also getting involved with this effort since it fits in so well, and is a very creative way to help meet the goal we all share, helping the troops.

Our own nuts at the NFJ forum has begun this effort as well -

Jericho On DVD - Connect with our Troops!

If we can get all those who are purchasing the DVD set of Jericho Season 1 to also purchase another copy to be sent to the troops we ALL win. The DVD will double in sales, and the troops will be getting a copy as well via the Staten Island Project mentioned above.

We are currently working on contacting Amazon.com with some ideas on getting this project off and running, I will let you know of all the details as they become available. You can also keep track of this on NFJ at the link in the title above.
