One Mans Terrorist ~ Episode 17

Well, I watched the 16th countdown, finally. The player was fixed on my computer, however I do not think I missed anything with this video. It really just discussed being in a state of "hyper anxiety". I suppose that what the person speaking was trying to say was that as a culture we are so used to constantly being 'under the gun' , living with the threat of nuclear war. So, in a sense, we have culture of sufferers of the illness, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ( PTSD).
In the countdown video at the end, a sniper was shown putting a laser light on Hawkins, and it seems that this video was meant to show "before" the actual war, since we see Hawkins pulling up at a harbor of some kind. He was there in response to someone called 'Tango' who wants that chip back.

Tonight's show promises to be a great one, the sneak peek shows Roger holed up with what looks like hostages, who we cant see. This reaction is due to Gray wanting to kick out some of the refugees from town. That Gray, he is a kick in the pants.

I will be back tonight right after the program to post, see ya'll then! ~;-)

Well, almost saw Gray removed didn't we? I suppose that there will be those who back Gray's behavior, I would not. But the whole episode begged us to think "what would we do?" What is the answer in that situation? I would say poor Emily, but we all know she is not really broken hearted about Rogers leaving town. If that had been my soon to be husband, my place no matter how bad, would have been by his side.
I think the most exciting part of tonight's show was the preview for next week! But more on that in a sec.
So, we see Roger wrestle Gray for the gun, and it goes off. This puts Roger in the position of being both the mediator and the bad guy. In all honesty, putting those people out of town would probably be most peoples thoughts right off the bat, as resources for the town are going to be dwindling. The problem is that Gray acts as if he is the 'only' person who has a say in the matter, and no matter what he ( the Mayor) is not.
The whole scene where Roger goes over the line and slips into the dark side, trying to take Gray as a hostage was a bit off, in reality he would know he was not going to get far from town before the rest of the vigilant townsfolk hunted him down.
Gail did what we knew she would try to do, bring the whole episode to a better resolution. The small meeting she has with the refuge who broke into her house obviously makes her see that these people really have no other option but to stay in town. She convinces the townspeople to take the refuges, and help feed them. She also gets them into the vacant houses left by the towns people who were away when the bombs dropped. This makes sense to do, but I think in real life, those houses would have been picked clean of resources long before now.
We got to see Dale and Skylar getting more into being their own muscle, as they go to the farm of the man who owed Dale the gas. Skylar gets the mans nephew to go up into the top of the barn , then she knocks the ladder down, steals a horse and carries off the gas that was rightfully Dales. I was amazed at how fast she managed to saddle that horse, and rig the gas cans to make her get away!
Hawkins has gone to Nebraska to see who it was that Sara was to meet to exchange the 'package' with. Hawkins, acting as Sara makes the arrangement to meet at an old warehouse, he sets up and when the people Sara was to meet show up, he is taking pictures of them. He manages to get their attention on another portion of the warehouse, and then he tags their truck with a tracking device. Then he sends them a message on the PDA that he ( as Sara) got nervous , and has changed the meeting place back to the original spot. The men leave, and Hawkins goes back to Jericho, where he then compiles the photos and other intel he has gotten on them. He also gets to see where they are and a bit more of who they are, using satellites to spy on them.
When that man and his nephew return to the store in town to reclaim his gas, Dale lets him see that he now has his own protection, "employees" as Dale calls them complete with guns. This is correct in my eyes, anyone who would have any type of store to run, would have to have some muscle of their own. He also got one either on Allison, his daughter; and he watches his family via satellite as well.

As I said before, the preview offered the best few minutes of the whole show. We see everyone gathered in the bar, and they are listening to the radio, because there is actually a news report. In this report, the man is talking about the terrorists in New York. He mentions among other things that the terrorists all had fake FBI Identification, and this is where our friend Jimmy the Cop is listening intently. He has finally started putting two and two together, you can see the wheels turning. Then we get to see Jake ( who else) facing off with Hawkins, demanding to know who he really is. Now, I have not liked Hawkins one bit since the beginning, and have been sure that I was correct about him, he is a terrorist himself. Sure, that is until last week, and as I saw the preview, I realized that Hawkins was probably just an inside mole for the real and honest part of the Government agency he worked for. Next week, we will find out I think at least which side Hawkins is really on, but will we see him finally have to kill a townsperson to keep his Identity a secret? Tune in next week to find out :-)
Well, I think that this post is pretty complete, but as always ; but if anyone has info that needs to put here, or questions that need answering, please feel free to post away!
