Home Buying on a non-existent Budget ~ Dream Time

I have spent the last 4 years or more being actively involved in real estate searches. I have used RedFin, Zip Reality, and my favorite of all Coldwell Banker from the Santa Cruz area. The only problem I have had with those companies is, I can not search my area of the country.
I love the Real Estate Sites that have tools for searching, they not only make it easier to find your dream home they make it fun to search. What girl does not recall the days of dreaming about her own home while she played with her doll house? Well, using Real Estate Sites is my grown up equivalent of that doll house.
Now I have a new playground for my home and property searches, and its more local to me as well. That is kind of cool, I would consider staying here if I could just get out the county I live in, maybe more south or east who knows. With the birds eye search tool that DROdio has, it make easier to see which areas of the states they cover. A they have a real estate weblog that I of course read and found they have many information areas that a new home buyer should read, especially now in this economic event we are going through.
