Jericho fans donate to buy DVDs for the troops.

This graphic represents the donations up until August 19th, however as of now the totals stand at $1040.78! This is a great cause , we get to promote both the Jericho Season 1 DVDs and also our Service Men and Women across the globe! The DVDs will be going to the troops all over the world, and if you come to Nuts For Jericho's thread on this topic, or to the thread on the CBS forums, you can even put in the name of a service man or woman who would like to have one!

Celebrate Freedom Week
September 9 - 15

In Hampton Roads, each city will hold a walk on different days between September 9 - 15 to show support for our military and Public Safety Members, and to honor the victims of September 11th.
Let our Hero's know that you appreciate their dedication and sacrifice, and let the families of September 11th know we haven't forgotten their loved ones by participating in one the Freedom Walks near you.

I suppose some are asking why I am posting so much about the Troops, and I will gladly explain.

If you think Jericho is a story that can never happen, please consider this carefully. It can happen, we are about to celebrate the 6th anniversary of a attack on our soil by people who carry so little love of life that they risked all to harm as many people as they could. People of all races, religions and cultures. Not just Americans, but on American soil. God forbid we ever have to see that cloud that Jake, Heather and the children saw on Jericho, and the only people who really stand in the way of that ever happening is the servicemen and women. And in the even that this horrible thing does happen again here , we have the secure knowledge that there will be emergency responders who will bravely go into buildings to save as many people as they can, with no thoughts to their own safety.

And I will never forget September 11, 2001 - never. I do not ever want to have that experience again in my lifetime or anyone else's.
