A Signature Banner Fan-Art Contest:

The contest will be open to submissions Sunday, July 1st, 2007 at 12:01 am. It will run for one week, giving everyone who wishes to create a banner the opportunity. On Midnight of Saturday next (or 12:01 am on Sunday July 8th, submissions will no longer be recorded, and judging will be commence, ending at midnight of the same Sunday. All winners will be posted soon after and notified by email as well

The creator of each submission must agree that anyone can use their images as a signature in any place they choose; beginning as soon they are submitted (gives everyone a chance to use them and support their favorites throughout the contest and help their favorites win the Golden Peanut Award).

All times denoted are EST.

All submissions are requested to be uploaded from the contestant to The Jericho WiKi “Fan Art – Signature Banner Contest ” page AKA

(please use the spaces provided, and place your banner in the slot directly above the last entry. They will be numbered for ease of use and will be recorded daily at 12:00am est.

There will be 2 categories; each contestant may enter only two (2) submissions in each category.

1. Jericho
2. Individual Character of Jericho (as their character not as their real persona)

the categories will be judged in on several merits in increments of 5 (thanks LisiBee)
A. Creativity 1 (use of anything unusual or different)
B. Technical Skill (visually pleasing)
C. Relevance (as pertaining to the show or the character)
D. Originality (use of original art)


The Contest will begin at 12:01am, Sunday July 1,2007 and will run until 12:01 am
Sunday July 8, 2007

Submissions will be judged on the quality of the artwork.

The artwork must call attention to Jericho or any character of Jericho (there will be 2 categories).The Character must be depicted in the image in some way. Information about each character is available on the Wiki.

All artwork must be the contestant's original creation. Using public images from the show or of its characters is permitted.

All artwork must be horizontal and 300 x 100 pixels without a frame or border.

All artwork must be 25k. or less in file size
Animations are permitted within the guidelines above

Lettering, signatures, or initials may appear on the front of the design.

Completed submissions must include an author or creator in its properties tag.

There will be a first and second place award (Yes prizes).

There will be a fan favorite who will receive the 'Award of the Golden Peanut'

ALL of the submissions will remain on the Wiki Page for as long as they are there

It is important that no one hotlinks to them you must put them in a separate storage area for your use.
