Photos from J.D. Streett - Special XF for Jericho
Many Thanks to J.D. Streett and the Special Effects folks for letting us post these for everyone to check out, and for giving us such awesome explosions and special effects. * I love love love explosions, the bigger the better!*
And BIG THANKS to Miss Shelby for helping this blog to get these photos here!!!!
J.D. has worked on some of the best pictures made as well, check his IMDb page out, Honey I Blew Up the Kid, Waterworld, The Big Lebowski ( great work there) and Pyscho to name a few.
Now for the cool stuff from Mr J.D.Steett:
Thanks to Tom Seymoure for putting this together. (he is the one with sunglasses in the crew photo.) he also worked on Jericho

Greetings all,
Here's what we've been up to lately.
Script calls for a scene of firefighters trying to save a burning building.
We have to make lots of fire, make it look scary, but not harm the building. hmmmm...tricky.

Step 1 - Rent an Innocent Building

Step 2 - Hire a Scurvy Disreputable XF Crew

Step 3 - Build fireproof boxes around all windows and doors.

Step 3 A - Finish fireproof boxes.

Step 4 - Install propane flamebars and hoses to control station.

Step 5 - Call Fire Department and Film Crew

Step 6 - LIGHT IT UP!

Burn, Burn Burn

Burn burn burn

Burn, burn, burn, shut it down, put it out, go home. Come back tomorrow and clean up.

So awesome to see more of the behind the scenes stuff that goes into making a television show.
Wonder what type of XF we can expect when we bring Jericho back for Season 3?
