SoA ~ Gets A Second Season

From THR.com ~

FX has picked up "Sons of Anarchy" for a second season. The motorcycle-club drama from creator/exec producer Kurt Sutter has been given a 13-episode order for its sophomore run, with stars Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal and Ron Perlman on board. John Linson and Art Linson also exec produce the drama, from Fox 21 and FX Prods. While first-run episodes of the drama are performing modestly, FX cited the series' cumulative viewership numbers in announcing the pickup.

Here is an Interview with Charlie Hunnam in M&C Small Screen. Really great Interview!
And Zap2it.com has awesome tv listings, ratings info and the like, I have been u sing them since the early Jericho Days and I trust their info ~ here is the page for SoA.

I am searching out the ratings info for the show so I can keep an eye on them. And the Blog for the show is just about done, will have it up and running by this weekend!

Another news article over at IGN ~ Sons of Anarchy Keep Riding

Tonight's episode will be posted on tomorrow, it promises to be as fascinating as the rest have been.

Sons Of Anarchy Tears it Up!

I have not felt this much excitement over a show since, well... Jericho! Sorry the show is not a CBS Show. This is actually a good thing because just from the way FX put out the Age Ratings for the show made me know they realize the risky nature of the show and accept it right up front. This means that they are far more willing to tackle these topics and not let some suit take the show off the air.

I have so much catching up to do though, but it will be a great weekend of viewing. Katey Sagal is simply terrific as Clay's wife and Mother to Jax ( played by Charlie Hunnam). She is what some would call a bitch, but I think its more a momma bear thing. She definitely has what the show asks for as a Biker Momma. And love the car!

Ron Perlman plays Clay, the leader of the SoA and Stepfather to Jax. I have loved him since he played Vincent in Beauty and The Beast. His list of acting accomplishments is extensive and his abilities are huge. He makes a damn fine and believable leader of the SoA. A bit edgy for those of us who do remember him as the romantic Vincent but good.

I will play catch up this weekend as I said, and then will be in a better place to do a recap of the show so far. I will say this, I like the premise and I like that this show is portrayed as realistically as it is, is this topic what main stream Americans would want to see, not sure. What I do know is the topic has a place and makes you see that there are cultures out there we need to see, hear and experience. These guys are out to save a town from drug dealers and big corp heads....... I love that idea big time.

I think this show may warrant a separate blog :-) and you know how I love to make my blogs!
Best thing so far besides the topic itself ~ Redwood Original!!! Gotta love the Redwood reference :-)

Remember you can catch up on all the SoA info by going to FX website for the show ~ Sons Of Anarchy and catch the show on FX Wednesday nights at 10 pm!

Sons Of Anarchy To be Recap on Blog

Sons of Anarchy Added Into My Blog Routine

Okay, never let it be said that I am NOT a glutton for punishment :-)

I was thinking it over today, and I really do not see a reason why I can't at least do a small post each week after the show airs. I will for sure be catching up this weekend, and tomorrow look for my first Official Blog Recap tomorrow!!!!
Oh , and don't forget they have a blog and forum and I hope someone starts loading bikes into that area at the website. I will have to call my Uncle Joe in MA and ask him to get his buddies to load up their rides.

:-)

What's New with Jericho

News on Jericho, it's fans, and TV in General ~

Well, as I see from the Boards, not much has been occurring on the Fan Based activity front or with CBS Paramount/ Junction. There is some open discussions about the Graphic Novels and how it went for the 4400 as compared to how it 'might' go for Jericho ( link for that thread - "Jericho and the 4400" ) I think that either way, we are so far out in the time line before we see anything concrete that we just have to step back and realize that these things do take alot of time to get in motion.

I would love love love to pick Carol's brains about what has been happening, but no way can I get access to her or to Junction so I like everyone else will just have to be patient - hard as that seems to accomplish. I suggest that we keep watching other shows we love, what ever station they may be on, or topic because we should not be depriving ourselves of fun entertainment, and I don't think the cast and crew want that either. You can see what I will be watching , and there is another show that I wont be blogging on, but just watching for the pure fun of it - Son's of Anarchy on FX. ( do we see a pattern emerging about my psyche here?) Now I have not had the time to catch it yet, hope to spend this weekend watching online, but have been told by some friends that this show is great.

We will get the news as soon as they can tell us, we just need to wait until the folks at CBS Para and Junction have news to give.

Peace everyone :-)
