In the mood for some fun in the snow?

With more snow about to fall here in the east, some are thinking about that perfect snowy getaway complete with skiing and snowboarding. I know my kids would give their eye teeth to go snowboarding.

So, you may be wondering what this picture signifies for me, well.... this entire week coming up we will have snow showers each night!

I love and adore snow for the holidays, from now until oh say... December 31st. The I wish for it to immediately get warm enough to wear a light coat until spring arrives..
This picture is the best of snowy weather, the silence one hears in the woods after or during a snowfall. I have always gravitated to the woods in the snowy season, I guess I am a loner and always will be.

The peace I feel while out walking in a wonderland like this is not given to me at any other time in the year. Guess I feel closer to God , like the world is cleaner more holy some how?
