Sunset after the storm

I had to share this photograph, and I did not add in any of the red either.

The reddish coloring was from a outburst of the sun as it was setting and the clouds behind me ( I am the taking the photo facing southwest) were so dark it just made the entire world light up!
It is fantastic to see the various colors that the sky produces in the Fall and Spring. The violet color was actually that shade in the sky as well.

Fall turned out to be pretty fantastic for Kentucky, the colors began as what I call the mustard shades, but quickly turned to the reds, golds, and salmons of a traditional 'New England" type fall.

My kids love when Fall is this way, it just makes the whole upcoming holiday season seem more fun to them, and I agree. Gotta love being alive for this stuff.
