You know I have been wanting new furniture, no .... needing it something fierce. But as hard as I try to save the total price of a living room suite its just getting farther and farther away. So now I will look into renting to own instead. I think the same styles are available or at least close enough to what I want.
Why rent to own? Renting to Own is another option for those of us who are cash poor due to rising costs for food and gas. According to RTOHQ the number of Rent to Own Customers have been on the rise since 2006 as have the number of stores who provide the Rent to Own experience.
So what is rent to own? Rent to Own is a means to having what you need for your home without going into deep debt to obtain them or having to wait until your 60 years old. You get protection in the price being lower and should a piece of furniture
One of the nice things about renting to own is the fact that if you have say a living room set, and you all of a sudden do not feel its a fit for you, you can always exchange it for something else instead. You can also rent to own other things, such as appliances and electronics. I would also love to have a Flat Screen HDTV , and even though the costs are down coming up with $600 all at once is going to be a hardship. So with Rent to Own I can just set about saving for say the down payment and a months rent up front! Much easier.
Your not obligated to keep what you rent, you can end your arrangement any time you wish. You are not seeking a credit extension so no credit check is needed either.Payments can be weekly or biweekly, or monthly. What else do you get when you sign that rent to own contract? You get a solid business behind the contract whose real attention is on you, the customer, because without you there is not Rent To Own Business.
I will be visiting a few RTO stores in my area next week, and hopefully I will be able to swing getting what I need for the house and not break my bank doing it!
