OKay gang, we are at that time to say goodbye to the Jericho Boards at CBS

Yep, it's that time to begin preparing for the move, everyone got their posting buddy? ( my fav line from Toy Story, :-) We have five days from today kids according to this post that is inserted below. Now this has NOT been corroborated with anyone at CBS yet, but better safe than sorry. If you have posts you wish saved, you can copy and save as PDFs to your computer, and JerichoNet has many many saved as well.

Hi Linnette - Our old boards are going down the end of August. Our new boards are CBS Network Forums. They have nothing to do with CNET, this transition was well underway about all of that. Primetime shows on our fall line up will have board rollouts. Thanks for your support. CBS.com Daytime Team

To ALL: From this private message I received today, ALL Prospero boards which is like the one we are posting on now will be all going down at the same time as all of the Daytime boards. Daytime got a advanced notice with a date posted by CBSDaytime. So, I don't know whether to expect one here or not. We didn't get any notice on GW either. I wrote a message to the Admins about a week ago and had I not asked when our last boards would go down then I don't know if they would have given us any notice at all anywhere so here's the advance notice and I just got this today which is better than nothing. As posted in a different thread to expect this to happen and I feel bad to be bringing this to all of you here. So, make plans now with your friends so you'll know how to find them on the new board or on a different Ghost Whisperer message board. I thought we would have a couple of months to ponder about this but from this it doesn't look as if that's the case. I have sent one more private message to the CBS Admins since I'm in denial to see if maybe we might have a little more time. I think this is the end of these great boards. And from what I was told, all new boards were made by CNET. They have clarified that for me that the new boards are: CBS Network Forums for anyone who is interested in staying to post on a different shows board. If anyone is wondering if a board such as Moonlight, Swingtown, Jericho or any other show that had an old board and you want to know if they will be getting a new board, the answer that is given in this message is:... If that one show that is NOT on the Fall schedule then they will Not be getting a new board here at CBS. For those poster's that don't understand "Why" CBS has made this decision to switch out to the new boards, I've sent another reply to the Admins asking. If they reply to me, I'll post it if there is time left. This is the hardest post I've ever made. I've now sent myself into the corner to cry because I wil be boycotting the new boards unless CBS gets our profiles off of "Google". Until then, I'll be posting on a different GW message board. If anyone has anything in their profile now... all Prospero board profiles have been linked to the new board so now this boards profile isn't even private anymore as they have been since they put them up. Try and do a Google search on your screen name just the way it is here and you just might be surprised on what you see. If your profile is empty then you have nothing to worry about unless you decide to post on the new boards. On the new boards, all profile's are automatically made from your first post. What you add to that profile can be seen from a Google search by anyone along with the last dozen or so posts that CBS also adds to your profile. I didn't read in the TOS or now it's called the TOU: Terms of Usage that I give my permission to let my profile be seen from a google search. I've been trying to get answer's of why the new boards are not private and why all profile's are on Google. No replies yet. That's my concern is that anyone could be a stalker or just plain nosey and read what I only want the poster's to read. I'm sorry that I had to bring such bad news because it doens't give us much time. Onward and forward. I can't wait for Season Two.
