Well, I cant say I am surprised at this.... more on my opinions after I put the ratings down here -
From zap2it :
NBC took the night for the numero uno spot getting a 3.5/7 share for the night and beating out ABC who had a 2.8/5, and CBS and CW tieing with 2.7/5 for third place * FOX took 4th with a 2.3/5*
In the 18-49 demographic CW had 1.4 rating, ABC and NBC tied with 1.3 for second place and FOX had a 1.0 for fourth place and *damn it* CBS took fifth with a 1.8!

FOX - Standoff - 2.2/4

CBS - Numb3rs - 3.5/7
Playing that rerun was not a great thing. I watched last night as best I could, as if I were a brand new fan... and was totally thrown by the whole episode. It frustrated me that I was seeing snipits, and it explained nothing of the nuances of the show * which is what attracts us!*
Bad move, but I know that this was the only way to do according to CBS and better than nothing.
What we need to do is, forget this weeks ratings and move forward to the episodes coming up - these are the important ones, and we have to hope that by the end of the reruns, folks who are new to the show will want to know what the heck happened in episodes 1-10 and will buy the DVD in October!
Do I think this is a bad thing, the numbers being so low? NO, because I expected that this would happen this week.
There is no way a new fan who was hearing all the hype over the show from all of our campaigning was going to see what it is we were going nuts over.
So, instead of beating this one to death here because i know it will be getting plenty of air time on the forum, I will just say one more time.... concentrate on next week and each week afterwards.... that is where we make our stand to save this show!
