NEW BERN ATTACKS
SHERIFF CONSTANTINO GATHERS FORCES FOR ASSAULT
Jericho, KS. - The Citizens of Jericho recently received an unwelcome visit by neighboring New Bern. A large contingent of Truck and Infantry is approaching the town, lead by Sheriff Constantino. Attempts to negotiate with New Bern have proven useless. Mayor Anderson has been in contact with New Bern constantly throughout this ordeal. A skirmish occurred between New Bern and Citizens of Jericho near the Richmond Farm. When asked to comment on the attack, Stanley Richmond has this to say, "Well, all I can say is they didn't get the Chickens, if they had Mimi would not be happy." Citizens of our town managed to turn back the initial assault using the Abrams Tank stored in the Richmond Barn.
In a stunning turn of events, former Mayor Johnston Green was shot and later died. When asked to comment on the attack, Jacob Green, son of the late Mayor Green, had this comment, "NUTS!"
Consensus throughout the entire community is the same, Jericho will not surrender to the threats of New Bern. As Editor of the Daily Record, I realize this may be the last news you good citizens receive for a while. I urge you to continue to spread the word, keep the news alive, all lines of communication open! Stand firm and do not surrender my friends and neighbors. Seperately, we cannot stand, but together we can overcome this threat and emerge triumphant.
