In last weeks Countdown video :
a. the guy in the count down video who tells Hawkins to drop the chip or die, is the skinny guy who was in the room when all the agents were getting their low down in last weeks show. This makes sense to me, and we already know that the CIA is the bad guy here. (Well, appears to be the case )
b. Hawkins gets a file downloaded to his cell, in which we get a really quick primer on the boundaries and behavior rights of the CIA and FBI domestically in the event of terrorism, I like that the Prof who was speaking said that in the event of a Nuclear attack the "burden of efforts" would fall on the local Law Enforcement. Now, for me, this is not so bad because 30 miles north of me is Eastern Kentucky University, which is a HUGE in house collection of all sorts of law enforcement; county and state Police, and from time to time even FBI has been rumored to be at the College of Justice and Safety. Heck, we even have a degree in Homeland Security!
But, what about the small towns, those who do not have such resources at their disposal?
c. we see that Hawkins get on a train to go to DC as planned in the cell phone dispatch, but as he is approaching Sara texts him, mid sentence is "attacked in the safe house"
That is where the video ends, so we have to wait until after the show Wednesday to see the next one.
Okay then, on to the sneak peek for the upcoming episode - Missing Eric
The men who went to New Bern to work on the Windmills , are suddenly brought back home. Stanley tells Jake that Eric suddenly went missing three days before, and that after the Jericho men asked questions, they were sent back to Jericho with no explanation other than that it was a "goodwill gesture".
Poor Gray, ( who I might add is now up and walking, darn it) is as dumb as a post, clueless. He buys this goodwill gesture statement, hook line and sinker.
So, my more pressing question has to be, are we going to see this show go down the tubes?
